Instead of collagen, this version uses biotin (also known as Vitamin B7) as its powerhouse ingredient to help fortify fragile hair and prevent the breakage that can make hair look thin.

Like most VO5 shampoos, it provides a very deep, weightless clean to strip away oils and heavy styling products that drag your roots down. To make sure the hair stays healthy, it still includes VO5's signature core blend of Vitamins E, H, C, B5, and B3 to keep everything vibrant and shiny even after a deep cleanse.

Because it is a strong clarifying shampoo, it does a great job of giving you that "squeaky clean" lifted root, but you will definitely want to follow it up with a conditioner on your ends to prevent dryness.
